As TOC has already been released several weeks ago and our frontpage seemed to be out of date, I decided to give it a little update. The normal mode bosses have been cleared with each day that they have been released. On september 2nd the boss Anub'Arak was unlocked and quickly taken out by the guild. Grats to everyone!

Considering pretty much most guilds have cleared this boss on the day of release, I guess it's blizzard's way of saying "the real challenge lies in hardmodes". With that in mind, we've decided to put our focus on clearing the hardmode content. As we have already cleared the U10 hardmode encounters, our guild's focus will be clearing both TOC10/25 and and some of the U25 hardmode content. To that end, we've opened up recruitment on nearly all classes!

- Stable Raidingtimes -
    25 man raids are organised from sunday to thursday, with raidingtimes from 19:00~00:00
    10 man raids each friday and saturday, with free raidingtimes.
    ! As we are a small raidingguild, active members are guaranteed to have a raidingspot !

- Social atmosphere -
    RU has been around for exactly 4 years and as such has developped a friendly guild atmosphere.
    During raids you can have a laugh, but when it's bosstime people focus on the task
    Lots of ventrilo banter  

- Progress -
    Ru's goals are to clear hardmode content, and we are looking for those that share a similar desire to clear hard content!

Since Ulduar has been released, RU has eagerly stepped in and challenged all of the encounters that this instance has to offer. So far we've made pretty good progress, putting the official bosskill counter for us on 10! This means that there are still 3 bosses awaiting us, and 4 if we include Algalon the hard mode boss. Since there has been little post-worthy material to be placed on the frontpage, it was time for a little update again. A couple of weeks ago we decided to have a serious go at sartharion three drakes. After quite some 10 men wipes and a couple of 25 men wipes it was done :p

Yes yes for you critics that seem to have been making an uproar because of this encounter, "weeks behind", but it was still a very nice kill .The 10 men version of this encounter definetly was the hardest of the two, but after having killed both hard mode versions we can finally say we're done. Very satisfying encounter, good job everyone!



Also RU is currently recruiting healers for Ulduar, although any class is welcome to apply if they feel they have something good to contribute to RU!

Tonight after the combined effort of all guildmembers, RU has finished off Kil'Jaeden and has thus officially cleared all TBC content. Big gz to everyone! We also killed all the other bosses in sunwell after our Brutallus first kill, but we rushed through them so fast I just decided to put everything in one post;)

Reborn Unity - Kil'Jaeden 11 november

Dispite the patch having "balanced" the raiding content, we were still eager to clear out sunwell before the expansion. On our third evening we decided to have another go, on the last day before the last maintenance. The setup was perfect and the tries were getting better and better. Each try we would get the boss a few % lower, and after the last 5% and 0% (yes, 0%) wipe, everyone knew it was Kil'Jaeden's time to die. At around midnight we made our best attempt, and Kil'Jaeden suffered defeat from RU!



I think I speak for all RU members when I say that we have had rough times during TBC. Many people joined and left, but in the end we were left with the most dedicated people and killed the last boss in TBC. Again a big GZ out for everyone, and I hope we will have better times in Wrath of the Lich King! May many bosses die in our name :p
